Successful completion of Tottendown Fields Estate Window Replacement works £1.8 million.
The works included the replacement of all existing windows with double glazed timber or white PVCu units and external repairs and redecorations. Due to the properties being situated within a conservation area the planning department required that all windows that can be viewed from the street i.e. the front and side elevations should be replaced in timber reproducing the original design of the estate and the rear of the properties should be replaced with white PVCu.
The number of properties in the programme was two hundred and nine, all of which were surveyed and measured prior to the windows being manufactured. We operated a flexible programme of works around the access requirements of the residents.
