David Munn - Operations Director

Founder of Imperial Building and Decorating Contractors David has retained overall responsibility for the business following the acquisition by KS National and will be instrumental in continuing the growth and success of Imperial for the future. 

David has built a great team around him and has played an integral part in progressively moving the company forward. To date he has introduced our Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000, achieved the prestigious Investors in People Award along with developing our Health and Safety Policy. David has responsibility to ensure his team perform to and attain the highest possible standards.

Matthew Jeffery - Business Development Director
 

Matthew joined Imperial in 1996 and has gradually progressed through the Company to the position of Director.

Starting out as an assistant Surveyor he steadily moved on to the role of Senior Surveyor in 2003 and since developed within the business to General Manager and now Business Development Director. 

Understanding key commercial issues within our sectors his role includes the review and implementation of strategic business change and development which will drive the business forward in the future.

 

John Elliott - Commercial Manager
 

John graduated in 1978 from the Polytechnic of the South Bank and has gained over 25 years experience in quantity surveying with main contractors working in the private and public sector. He has been involved in a wide range of projects up to £15 million, both new build and refurbishment, including social housing, internal and exterior upgrading, retail and commercial development, facility management carried out in the UK and Europe. 

John has been with Imperial for 4 years and is responsible for the preparation of Management Accounts and works closely with David and Matthew to prepare and implement our Business Plan and Budgets.  

John also has overall responsibility of the surveying and estimating departments and plays a key role in the development and negotiation of Partnering Arrangements with our Clients.

Mary Ann Clark - Head of Marketing

Mary Ann works closely with David, Matthew and John to develop our existing client base and seek new business opportunities within the market. She is responsible for providing information to existing and potential clients including approved contractor lists, pre-qualification and tender submissions.

Her duties also include maintaining all accreditations to ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Constructionline, CHAS and Investors in People along with the administration of our website. If you require any further information on our services or current projects please contact her directly on:

Ruth Irons - Finance Manager

Ruth has been working for Imperial for three years. As well as being responsible for the day to day running of all aspects of accounts, Ruth manages the Payroll and Credit Control Departments. Her duties also include the completion of Management Accounts and reports to the Directors and Head of Finance at regular management meetings. 

 
 
 
Head of Resident Liaison - Christopher Munn
 

Chris has been with Imperial since 1997, his strong relationship skills and customer care focus are great assets to the business.

Chris manages our team of Resident Liaison Officers and works closely with the Contract Managers, Surveyors, Supervisors and Operatives to ensure our Customers and Clients are totally satisfied with the service we provide. Chris’s role is an integral part of the business and it is required he reports to the directors on a monthly basis to discuss feedback and progress on all contracts.
